01 / The challenge

Content had
become friction.

MarComm needed a reliable way to manage the content that Sales and the wider company depended on, while keeping ownership, permissions, requests, and approvals clear.

The answer could not be another disconnected repository. BaseCamp needed to become an operating system for content: easy to find, governed by the right people, and flexible enough to support the many ways teams worked.

02 / The approach

Turn content
into momentum.

BaseCamp connected the content lifecycle to the people and processes around it, making internal work easier to request, review, manage, and reuse.

01

Build one library

Create a structured DAM for the content Sales and MarComm needed, with a dependable place to find current assets.

02

Make work visible

Bring company requests, interactive help, self-managed webforms, and multi-step approvals into one system.

03

Protect the system

Use SSO and LDAP role-based permissions to make access clear, secure, and aligned to how teams actually worked.

03 / The architecture

Built around
the workflow.

Drupal and PHP provided a flexible foundation for a system that could grow from asset management into a connected internal service.

CONNECTED OPERATIONS

BaseCamp made content easier to govern and made the surrounding company processes easier to navigate.

04 / The outcome

A shared system
for better work.

BaseCamp became a successful internal platform for TransPerfect, helping MarComm support Sales while improving how teams across the company requested, reviewed, accessed, and managed content.

Its success extended beyond the original DAM brief. The department was rewarded for helping change multiple internal systems and for creating a more efficient way for the company to get work done.
